Hello! I'm Hailey Smith, I love being creative and experimenting with color. Since I was a kid, I have always loved being artistic! Whether it's making pottery, working with metal, drawing, painting, digital art, I'm all about it. Uncommon Knots started in 2020 when I was looking for something unique to decorate our living room with, and I came upon dip dyed wall art on Pinterest. I FELL IN LOVE. I made a super simple one for above our couch and I couldn't take my eyes off of it. It pulled the room other perfectly and added such warmth. My sister-in-law saw it and suggesting I start making them to sell, and that's how it all started! My art has changed so much since I began and experimenting with all different types of yarns, macrame, and dip-dye. I love all of the color possibilities and the look of dip dyed yarn, so I ultimately chose that route. I hope to continue growing and expanding my creative thinking to make unique dip dyed wall art.
